Deployment Engineer

Overview

As a Deployment Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the deployment of energy infrastructure projects, including EV charging stations, across Europe. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational engineering knowledge, especially in AUTOCAD & Revit, who are looking to gain hands-on experience in project deployment. You will assist with technical tasks, ensure accurate project documentation, and work closely with the Project Lead, the client, other stakeholders like municipalities and other team members such as BIM Modelers to ensure successful project execution. The position involves travel across Europe to support on-site activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist in the deployment and engineering aspects of EV charging station projects across Europe. Responsibility is at the Project Lead or at the Deployment Manager.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical details and installation records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Leads, BIM Modelers and Project Support employees to support project activities. Also as a Deployment Engineer you collaborate with clients and other stakeholder.
  • Site Assistance: Support site surveys, assisting with data collection and recording site conditions under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Project Administration: Keep track of all Project Administration in the Project Management system.
  • Basic Engineering Knowledge: Strong foundational skills in engineering, with specific knowledge of AUTOCAD and Revit for model-based design and documentation.
  • Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of EV infrastructure, with a focus on technical support and technical processes.
  • Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions from the Project Lead.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assist with basic on-site tasks and solve minor issues under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Flexible & Adventurous: Willing to travel within Europe and adapt to various site environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with AUTOCAD & Revit and basic engineering tasks.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe for occasional on-site support.
  • Valid driver’s license.
